Nazif gets stuck in a library that’s been lit on fire, Gulistan goes to her first check-up, and Gunes breaks up with Adem after an awkward encounter with Mert and Dilara at Faruk’s restaurant. An excited Gulistan returns home from her first ultrasound and reveals to the Borans that she’s expecting twins, Esma returns home with news that Nazif has been rescued from a fire but remains in hospital in critical condition, and Senem and Sureyya reunite. Nazif is discharged from the hospital, Dilara invites Mert to a family get-together, and Esma finally accepts Anastasia.

Esma moves into a nursing home, and Adem manages to find Gunes and asks her a potentially life-changing question. It’s Mother’s Day and everyone is in high spirits, and Gunes receives a surprise visit from Dilara. The family and friends gather together to celebrate Mother’s Day, but in true Boran fashion, the day ends in tragedy. It’s the day of Garip’s funeral and everyone tries to honour him the best way they can. However, the trauma of Garip’s passing causes Esma’s illness to progress in the worst way possible.
