Jele home, and Thandiwe is at a loss for words when Nox yells at her for hiding the truth from her. Khelina and Ringo are worried that the Jeles might fall apart with this new situation, and Lungile is concerned when she overhears her parents Bonga and Thandiwe arguing.
Mary tries her hand at gambling, and Nox is devastated that Thandiwe continues to keep secrets from her and the rest of the family. Bonga is arrested for physically attacking a colleague, and Herbert offers Nox a shoulder to cry on. Lerato asks Maureen to donate money to pay for Bonga’s bail hearing, and Thandiwe attempts to bring her family together. Bonga is released from prison and he is met with a warm welcome when he returns home, and Mary beats the church ladies at a game of cards. Bonga is given another chance to prove himself at work following his assault incident, and Asanda is envious of Mary’s big win. Lerato organises a party at Maureen’s tavern, and Bonga takes out his frustration on Lungile. Asanda hides her whereabouts from Charleston, leaving Sne to believe that Asanda may have a serious gambling addiction, and Khelina stops another disagreement at the
Jele home from boiling over.
