Melusi and Gladys partnered to rescue Ntokozo, Mazet was paralysed from the waist down after being shot, and Sibongile sought vengeance for her father Don’s death.
IN THIS ISSUE
Ntokozo is taken aback when Mazet tells him that she no longer loves him, and Zodwa could face an arrest for Don’s demise. Sibongile is still on a quest to settle the score with the person responsible for killing Don, and Mazet dumps Ntokozo. Teddy struggles to come to terms with his dad Don’s death, and Ntokozo blames himself for Mazet’s condition when he discovers that she’ll never walk again. Zodwa considers turning to alcohol with her life spiralling out of control, and Ntokozo fights for his romance with Mazet.
Don’s family arrange his funeral, and Thathi’s stalker contacts her. Mazet falls into a bout of depression but her loved ones aren’t going to stand back and watch her throw in the towel, and Buhle receives exciting news. Sbonga’s mouth lands him in hot water, and Zodwa makes a difficult decision to protect her kids Teddy and Sibongile from danger. Gladys and Melusi are speechless when Ntokozo asks if Mazet can move into their home, and Zodwa feels the walls closing in when she is questioned about a murder weapon. Gladys tries to talk Mazet into refusing to move into her home, and Thathi is ready to get back into the dating scene following her affair with Melusi. Gladys and Melusi scheme to kick Mazet out their house but they fear that they’ll ruin their already shaky relationship with their angsty son Ntokozo, and Zodwa experiences recurring nightmares of Don that force her to start drinking once again.
