Sebenzile’s life changes when her history comes knocking.
Khanyo insisted on facing the court openly and honestly and refused to use KaMadonsela’s muti, Sunil continued his schemes and plots against Maluju, and Zakithi kept pushing the idea of taking over Maluju Oil to Zithulele but he wasn’t too keen on it.

Khanyo desperately needs divine intervention during her stresses, and KaMadonsela has a trance that exposes Khanyo’s biggest secret. Sunil does what’s necessary to win Shria’s love and he interrupts her celebratory dinner with Jason. KaMadonsela’s graduation festivities begin and Khanyo is there to support her, and Sunil uses his dodgy connections to get closer to Shria. Khanyo helps to hide KaMadonsela, and Nirupa wants Sunil to leave town.
Khanyo meets a young man who she connects with instantly, and Nkululeko’s nightmare comes to life at the awards ceremony. Sunil congratulates Shria but what he says leaves her worried, and Zakithi is annoyed that Sifiso is spending time at the church. There’s panic at Maluju when Sunil is found on the floor suffering a seizure of sorts, and news of the miracle at Phakade’s church has spread and more congregants join the celebrations.

She’s got amazing friends and a lover that she’s crazy about. But that’s about to come crashing down with the entry of Nhlakanipho (Mfana Jones Hlophe). But who is Nhlakanipho and what is his relationship with Sebenzile? “Nhlakanipho is her ex-boyfriend and ex-business partner. They were in a relationship when Sebenzile lived in Johannesburg and he went by the name Nolwazi. They had a life together, a life totally different than the one Sebenzile is living now,” says Busisiwe. It may not be easy to get him out of her new life. A SURPRISING CALL Blissfully in love with church leader (Sandile Dlamini), Sebenzile is unaware that her ex has shown up looking for her. So imagine her shock when he phones her! “The phonecall brings her to the realisation that her old debts are coming back to haunt her – she owes Nhlakanipho a lot of money,” explains Busisiwe. “Sebenzile took Nhlakanipho’s money and he’s now come to claim that after he saw a news article about her. Her reason for lying to Phakade about the phonecall is simple: She doesn’t want him to find out about her past in Johannesburg. She’s kept that a secret for so long because she’s done some shady things with Nhlakanipho that she doesn’t want anyone, especially Phakade, to find out about.” A BLOODY ENCOUNTER Sebenzile has two choices: Pay back all of the money she’s taken from Nhlakanipho or lose her life – dramatic, but Nhlakanipho is capable of anything. And these choices are proven to be set in stone when Nhlakanipho stalks Sebenzile and sends her a bloody knife. “She is rightfully scared. Knowing the kind of shady life that Nhlakanipho’s led, Sebenzile know that his threats aren’t just empty promises. She knows that from the two choices that she has, she has to choose the first one. Nhlakanipho isn’t going to leave her without getting what he wants, especially since she just upped and left with his money without a word,” says Busisiwe. WHAT’S NEXT? Sebenzile needs to make a move and she may show more of her personality now that her back is against the wall. “There’s a lot more drama that’s going to unfold. We may get to see a different Sebenzile. As for her response to Nhlakanipho’s threats, we don’t know if she’s going to kill Nhlakanipho or if he’s going to kill her. Her relationship with Phakade may also be on the line. It’s going to be explosive because there’s so much at stake and it could go anyway for Sebenzile,” teases Busisiwe.
