Sam wants to fix things with Thys and Beatrice, Angel tries to move on with her life, and Lionel has no idea how to win Janice back. Lionel makes an unexpected announcement that throws Janice off her stride, Ruby struggles to adjust to her new circumstances, and Thys is upset when he hears that everyone wants to move out of the house. Ingrid gives Angel a job at the boxing club, Aunty Poppie worries about Janice, and Ingrid tells Angel to stay away from Daniel. Janice is stunned when Lionel surprises her with a big gesture, Ronnie and Priester place a bet on Angel, and Lennie talks openly with Eva about his past.

Ingrid prepares Angel for life with her, Janice organises the wedding in secret, and Langes is no longer worried about Eva. Lennie prepares for his new challenge, Daniel gets an anonymous tip about Dorothy Galant, and Ingrid invites Ronnie, Priester and Angel to dinner. Lionel thinks that Janice is arranging a surprise party for Aunty Poppie, a well-known Arendsvleier is fighting for his life after he’s attacked, and Aunty Gertie and Uncle Johnny get into trouble on their holiday. Eva supports Lennie at a meeting, Ingrid is happy to hear that Priester is still interested in Angel, and Lionel’s motorcycle gang pick him up and then take him to the biggest surprise of his life. Lennie meanwhile tries to find space for his club.
