Do or die!
Judy puts her life on the line to stop Musa from leaving for Cape Town with his new girlfriend Khensani.
Despite that their families are enemies with a feud as old as time, ex-lovers Musa Baloyi (Wiseman Zitha) and
Khensani Mudau (Mathabo Mothibe) defy their loved ones’ orders and rekindle their romance. “Musa and Khensani have tried to fight their feelings for each other, particularly after their relationship ended in 2020 but their spark didn’t die. Instead, their chemistry intensified and now they’re eager to pick up where they left off,” explains Wiseman, who’s character immediately dumps his girlfriend Judy (Mamarumo Marokane) to date Khensani again.
As expected, Judy doesn’t take the split well. She pleads and begs with Musa to stay with her, and when he refuses, she conspires to win him back in the most shocking manner. “Judy loves Musa to the point that she can’t envision a future without him. As a result, she goes to extreme lengths to try and mend their romance,” warns Wiseman.
REUNITED
Within a few days of Musa and Khensani’s reunion, the Baloyis discover that the couple are dating again and they blow a fuse. The Baloyis kick Musa out of the home and they demand that he cuts ties with Khensani, but he declines. “When Musa meets up with Khensani, he informs her that his family have disowned him as they disapprove of their relationship, and Khensani suggests that they leave Risinga Village and move to Cape Town,” reveals Wiseman.
Khensani commends Musa for standing up to his family and prioritising their relationship, which inspires her to do the same. “Khensani and Musa understand that their families will never accept their romance. So they plan to live as far as they possibly can from the Baloyis and Mudaus.” Before Musa and Khensani leave, Judy hits them with a surprise.
CRASH & BURN
On the day of Musa and Khensani’s departure, Judy slowly loses her sanity and she’s tipped over the edge. “Judy executes a grand scheme to put the brakes on Musa and Khensani leaving. She runs in front of a moving car before pretending that it wasn’t intentional,” explains Wiseman of Judy’s reckless behaviour. When Judy regains consciousness, while waiting for an ambulance she asks the bystanders to call Musa and tell him what has happened. “Even if Musa visits Judy, he isn’t going to change his mind. He loves Khensani and she’s the woman he wants to spend his life with.” In other words, Judy’s “accident” was in vain…

Manoko and the Mudau family mourned the death of Mahlatse, Judy gave Musa a second chance at love, and Thomas and Thabiso’s father-son relationship was destroyed.
IN THIS ISSUE
A stranger offers Manoko a shoulder to cry on during her time of need, Dayina warns Judy to beware of Musa’s intentions as she suspects that he might be cheating with Khensani, and tragedy befalls the Baloyi family. Manoko fears that she’s losing control of her life, and Musa and his ex-girlfriend Khensani prove Dayina’s misgivings correct as they rekindle their relationship, leaving Judy heartbroken. A marriage is tested, and Judy does the unexpected to stop Musa from dumping her. Richard struggles to connect with Manoko as she continues pushing her loved ones away, and the Baloyis are hit with another bombshell.
Elsewhere, Musa convinces Khensani to pack their belongings and skip town with him, Vukosi and Manoko share a kiss after one too many drinks, and Judy can’t envision a future without Musa by her side. Khensani’s family try to talk sense into her but she’s set on leaving for Cape Town with Musa, Manoko reflects on her actions, and Vukosi has no shame in kissing a married woman. Mahlori caves to peer pressure, Manoko and Vukosi fight their feeling for each other, and a heartbroken Judy holds on to the idea that Musa might return to her but her friends know what’s coming. It’s the morning of Thabiso’s murder trial and Manoko is anxious, Mahlori’s desperation to fit in with his friends lands him in hot water, and Vukosi puts his job and his heart on the line when he confesses that he is in love with Manoko.
