Kurt and Shura’s future hung in the balance following Kurt’s betrayal, Celil’s plan to protect Alya was in full swing, and Officer Billy was unable to get rid of Kurt. A devastating fire forces Murvet and her family to move the city of Pera, Shura’s heart was conflicted when Kurt admitted his infidelity, and Petro was forced to reconsider his plans.

Kurt comes to terms with the conditions of his marriage as Shura tries to accept that the man she loves married someone else. Murvet is unsure of her marriage to Kurt, which worsens as he goes off to the region of Anatolia to war, and Petro proposes to Shura and she surprises everyone with her response. Murvet and Kurt try to build a connection despite Emine’s opinions, Shura thinks that she’s made a mistake by accepting Petro’s proposal, and Valentina tells Shura that she won’t be leaving with her.
After discovering the news of the engagement, Kurt tries to maintain his composure when he comes face to face with Petro. Ayse finally gets her chance to exact her revenge on Officer Billy, and Ayse goes into hiding, leaving somebody else to pay for her crimes. Shura receives two letters, a haunting one from the past and an illuminating one that decides her future. Petro may be on the run but also on the path to revenge, and as Kurt deals with the pain of Shura’s departure, Murvet is concerned about how this may change their marriage. Petro’s plans to get revenge on Alya are set in motion, and Petro tries to tie up loose ends but his secrets will have repercussions.
