María Clara takes her son Camilo to the hospital for an urgent test, Héctor considers becoming a paramedic, and Carlos takes the first step at improving his relationship with a family member. Álvaro and Sol offer María Clara support after doctors diagnose Camilo with cancer, Román’s friends are concerned about him when he doesn’t pitch at their usual spot, and Camilo fears the worst following his diagnosis. An unlikely woman rides the popularity wave when she discovers that a video of her falling over is trending on social media, María Clara’s kids give Carlos the cold shoulder, and a patient with a bullet wound is brought into the hospital.
Between her divorce, an ailing son and drama at her work, María Clara admits that she’s overwhelmed. Camilo has a seizure, and Héctor loses his hamster named Rambo at the hospital. Camilo’s condition worsens, Iñaki offers Palacino a shoulder to cry on, Rambo is found hiding at the hospital, and María Clara dumps Carlos to focus her time and energy on caring for Camilo. Meanwhile, Carlos arrives at the hospital with a relative, Camilo’s family encourage him to shave off his hair before he starts with chemotherapy, and the concerned staff at Santa Rosa hospital are determined to rescue Camilo. Carlos conducts an MRI test on a patient who suspects that they are experiencing episodes of amnesia, Carlos considers moving to Medellín, and María Clara receives a tempting job offer that has her both excited and concerned at the same time.
