Ed’s letter
The question I get asked the most when I tell people my job is what they should watch on TV. Of course, my first reaction is to tell them just buy tvplus and you will see, but I usually try to give the person at least some idea of what is hot. And that is rather a difficult thing to do because there are just so many shows, soaps and platforms. According to feedback, you (our loyal readers) weren’t too impressed with the pages we devoted to writing about the shows the team are watching. And with so Disney+ now also joining the streaming service platform, we decided to rather devote a bit more space then to tell you what to watch on the various streaming platforms. As for what’s hot to watch on TV, this issue has more than enough! From the real Gugu (Bukamina Cebekhulu) stop-ping the wedding in Muvhango (p21) to Eunice’s (Oratile Maitisa) drug addiction in Skeem (p30). I’ll admit it again: I’m a TV junky!
