Ed’s letter
Our reader comments always make me chuckle – mostly because I can so identify with the issues they experience, like missing Days Of Our Lives that’s no longer airing. Although it’s not part of the comment on p70 in this issue, I did get a comment that a reader finds the answers “clever but not at all helpful and very boring”. I have to admit, mostly it is true. Unfortunately we at tvplus can’t change schedules, write new storylines, remove characters from programmes or have any say in shows being cancelled, repeated or that disappear from the line-up. The best I can offer is to raise all comments and concerns with the channels and hope they listen – and that is exactly what I do while trying to lend a sympathetic ear. So even if we can’t change anything, please do keep the comments coming. I often speak to the various powers to be of the channels, and who knows when someone may bring your show back. Happy reading!
