A tangled love affair (15 June) the town of Neenah, Wisconsin is in a state of panic when the mangled body of a young missing grocery clerk is discovered. An unlikely resident takes the bold step and gives authorities information that leads them to a tangled love affair that played a major part in the murder, sending shockwaves through the tight-knit community.

Bludgeoned to death (22 June) the tourist town of Traverse City in Michigan is the scene of a terrible murder case when an 18-year-old is beaten to death at her workplace. Investigators struggle to get any clues as to why she was killed as pressure mounts from the community for them to provide an update and make an arrest. But there’s a problem: The police think that they’re hunting a serial killer.
