FEEDBACK ON AN EMAIL

Hi tvplus. It’s all very well for e.tv to add more local content and to include SABC in high definition, but it still does not solve their problem of not being able to record the SABC channels on Openview. Also, I can’t watch the SABC channels when I’m recording e.tv channels. I have written about this before. Therefore I suggest that e.tv sort out their problems with the SABC channels before introducing more content. I appreciate that they want to introduce new content for the young but they should not forget about their older viewers. I’m not excited about their new local content at all, and to discontinue Days Of Our Lives and S.W.A.T. to fit this local content in is beyond belief. Hi Lynne. Thanks for the mail. And the other mail about Isono (p32) being aired before and cancelled. And I see you say that you regret installing Openview now more than ever. I have forwarded the complaints to e.tv and have asked them about it, but unfortunately I still don’t have a proper response.

I can just imagine how frustrated you must be. I’ll keep on trying to get comment on the recording issue as that is something that affects us all. And making a note to try it out for myself too! Have you found anything on Openview recently that you do enjoy?
