Reap what you sow! Sebenzile’s nasty baby trap blows up in her face.
“Reformed” thug Sebenzile (Busisiwe Shezi) wants her cushy new life on lock. “She was handed a readymade life and perfect escape on a silver platter, and she will fight tooth and nail to keep the life that she has now,” says Busisiwe. “Sebenzile warmed up to Phakade (Sandile Dlamini) and the idea of being a pastor’s wife when she was introduced to the Bhengu family by KaMadonsela (Brenda Mhlongo) and started living with them. She wanted a change from her life of being a loanshark and saw this as a perfect opportunity.”
But while Sebenzile has expressed her desire to marry pastor Phakade many, many times, he keeps turning her away and shutting her down whenever the topic comes up. Sebenzile refuses to respect that. In her frustration, she decides to force the issue with Phakade – hoping to fall pregnant to “secure her Bhengu citizenship”. If he won’t say yes, she’ll make it so that he can’t say no!
MUTI TWIST
Sebenzile resorts to using muti to get Phakade to marry her. But her plans are ruined when Phakade drinks tea laced with the potion and ends up becoming a love sick puppy not for Sebenzile, but for his babymama MaZulu (Leleti Khumalo). “Sebenzile planned to use muti on Phakade to make him attracted to her and to ensure that his eyes are for her only. But ithe outcome puts their relationship in jeopardy. And Sebenzile soon realises that this ripple she’s created causes a tidal wave that is now out of her control,” says Busisiwe.
CRIME & PUNISHMENT
Sebenzile’s guilt starts creeping in and she decides to tell Phakade the truth. But her confession ends up pushing him further away. “Sebenzile feels really bad for what she has done and she hopes that by telling the truth Phakade will forgive her. She tries to tell him that the feelings that he has for MaZulu are only because of the muti, not his genuine feelings, but he doesn’t listen to her. This act of hers gives Phakade more reason to not be with her and this is her biggest punishment,” declares Busisiwe. Is she truly sorry though? “Not at all and her next move is to discourage the relationship between MaZulu and Phakade to the rest of the Bhengu family. She wants Phakade and no one will stop her!” reveals Busisiwe.

Nomusa figures out that the money is marked and she needs to get rid of it, and Shria goes to Kellerman’s hotel room after he doesn’t answer her phonecalls – and he’s not there. Lindiwe’s friends are in shock when they learn that she’s lost her job… but she’s got a rich new man in her life. Zithulele and Nokuzola decide to have a ritual to bring baby Nozi back home, Khanyo tries to make peace between Mzwandile and his sister, and Thandeka is unimpressed when Lindiwe moves in.
Shria thinks that she’s cursed when it comes to men, Lindiwe introduces the gang to her boyfriend Thabo, and Nirupa has an idea of who might be behind Kellerman’s disappearance. Mira returns to the Rampersads and makes a promise to the portrait of Pranav, Clive nearly catches Lindiwe cheating on him with her new boytoy Thabo, and Lindo and Thandeka are impressed with Lindiwe. Despite Shria’s objections, Nirupa brings Mira back to the Rampersad house after finding out that she’s pregnant, and Phunyuka visits Mzwandile.
