Kabisi tries to rope Philani into his plan to destroy Nkosiyabo.

-

Ever since Nkosiyabo Cele (Muzi Mthabela) kicked Kabisi Moroka (Mpho Molepo) out of the CEO seat at #Ezweni, Kabisi has been waiting for the perfect moment to strike back! And now he’s got the perfect accomplice: Criminal mastermind Philani (Herald Khumalo). But Philani has a surprise in store for Kabisi himself. “Kabisi sees Philani as being beneath him. Philani isn’t as powerful as Nkosiyabo or himself, so Kabisi foolishly thinks that he can use Philani to do his dirty work to bring down his enemy. But Philani makes it clear to Kabisi that he is his own boss. Philani does not take orders from anyone,” explains Herald. And they are words Kabisi should remember, adds Mpho. “Kabisi isn’t used to people telling him no. He obviously doesn’t like it, but he still thinks that they should work together to bring Nkosiyabo down.”

LURKING DANGER!

Bad news always has a way of travelling fast to the people it’s not meant for! So when Nkosiyabo hears via the grapevine that Kabisi is planning to partner with a man he’s done business with and trusted with his niece’s Sphe (Pearl Monama) safety, Nkosiyabo decides to take care of this situation – permanently.

“The news that Kabisi and Philani were working together to bring him down angers Nkosiyabo,” says Muzi. Nkosiyabo immediately outs a hit on Kabisi and he makes sure that only the most deadly of assassins is sent to do the job. But Kabisi has ears in every corner and he too finds out that he’s in danger.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

While planning to send Kabisi to an early grave, Nkosiyabo is completely unaware that his niece Sphe has overheard what he’s planning. “Fearing the worst, Sphe decides to tell her ex-husband and the father of her child Mazwi Moroka (Musa Ngema) of her uncle’s evil plan. Kabisi overhears the conversation and he flies into a rage,” adds the actor. But it’s not just the two men who’re getting worked up – Mazwi and Sphe are fed up with their respective family elders and their silly feud. “Sphe tells Mazwi about her uncle’s plan because she wants their war to come to an end once and for all and without bloodshed,” says Pearl.

Mazwi won’t tolerate any murders linked to the family and he sets Kabisi an ultimatum, says Musa. “He tells him to call a truce or retire in Rustenburg. That takes Kabisi by surprise and he realises how far he’s gone.” That doesn’t mean Nkosiyabo will come to the same realisation…
