Stern matriarch Kiymet will go to great lengths for her eldest son to have an heir, the grandchild she’s been dying for – and she’s not afraid to break the law to get it done. And a young woman named Elif agrees to be a surrogate mother for the rich couple but soon a fierce battle develops.

The Yorukan family baton is handed over to elder and wiser Kahraman, much to his crooked young brother Yakup’s disdain. Defne struggles to accept that she will never bear a child but no one in her life knows that yet, and Defne is furious when Elif refuses to marry Maksut, which leads to a tragedy that affects many people. Defne decides to follow Engin’s advice and trust her mother-in-law, and Elif receives disturbing news and is in a deep financial crisis. Elif receives the offer of a lifetime from one of the Yorukan family members, and Elif and her sister Nazli visit their mother in prison.
Elif faints and Melek calls Kiymet to fetch her and make sure that she gets adequate medical attention, and Elif finds out that she is pregnant and is taken to a safe house where none of the family enemies will be able to hurt her. Maksut and Veysel watch an unsuspecting Elif and wait until dawn to finally kidnap her, but Kahraman finds out where Elif is being held and rescues her from her captors. Kahraman is held at gunpoint and realises that his life is in danger, and pregnant Elif steps in front of the gun pointed at Kahraman.
