Burning love

Disaster and destruction when Lehasa dumps his fiancée Khwezikazi for lover Pretty.

-

Lehasa (Cedric Fourie) and his girlfriend Pretty’s (Lerato Marabe) history and love runs deeper than just having an affair behind his fiancée Khwezikazi’s (Samukele Mkhize) back. Their fooling around even led to Pretty being pregnant before she decided to have an abortion. But when Lehasa recently broke off his engagement with Khwezikazi, or Khwezi as she’s called, to be with Pretty, he started a landslide that might bury them both. His decision has already cost Pretty her home and family… and there’s worse to come.

A FIANCÉE SCORNED

“Pretty has become homeless, because after finding out about everything that has happened and about all of her decisions, her mother

MaNtuli (Dieketseng Mnisi) disowned her and banished her from coming back to the house,” reveals Lerato.

“Lehasa is shocked to see that his decision of choosing Pretty has set off so many people, but he isn’t going to stay quiet anymore and watch on as the woman he loves suffers. He makes a request to his uncle Phomolo (Sam Shale) to let him see Pretty,” says Lerato, whose character has been kept away from Lehasa by her family. “While he is trying his best to meet Pretty and be with her, he is unaware that Khwezikazi is planning something big to make Pretty stay away from him for good,” says Lerato.

NO, I’M PREGNANT!

While Pretty and Lehasa are battling their own demons, they’re left reeling when a new pregnancy bombshell hits them. “Pretty and Lehasa are shocked beyond words when it turns out Khwezi is pregnant and Pretty has some tough decisions to make,” says Lerato. “And to everyone’s astonishment, Pretty chooses to stay with Lehasa, even knowing that Khewzi is carrying his child.”

FUTURE FEARS

Lehasa’s other pigeons have also come home to roost. Detective

Petersen (Mortimer Williams) decides that there’s no time like the present to unleash a world of terror on Lehasa. “Detective Petersen feels that Lehasa has gotten away with too much and he won’t stop until he puts Lehasa behind bars for all of his crimes, such as killing

Fanie (Gift Mokhampanyane) in August 2021. He is one step ahead of Lehasa and Khwezikazi, as he knows something that they don’t think he knows. Anything that hurts Lehasa inadvertently hurts Pretty,” hints Lerato.
