Mira is back with the Rampersad fortune in her sights, and she’ll walk over Nirupa and Shria to snatch it.
Mira (Mishka Gounden) has had it in for her sister Shria (Kajal Maharaj) ever since she found out that they don’t share the same dad. The half-sisters’ mom Nirupa (Jailoshini Naidoo) wasn’t having any sibling rivalry nonsense under her roof though, and she kicked Mira out of the Rampersad house after she caught Mira plotting against Shria. Now Mira has returned to claim what’s rightfully hers as the only “true Rampersad” heiress!

Mira slinks her way back into the Rampersad house claiming to be pregnant, but Shria doesn’t fall for the lie. “Mira’s mask of goodwill is removed in front of Shria early on in the story,” says the actress. “Shria knows that something is wrong from the start and when she pesters Mira with her suspicions, Mira reveals that she’s back for her late father Pranav’s
(Koobeshan Naidoo) vast wealth and legacy.”
BABY FAKER!
Mira secretly makes Shria look like a bully to their mom, crying that she can’t stand Shria’s vindictiveness. But what Mira doesn’t know is that Shria has found out that she’s faking her preggy belly bump. “Mira has a plan that she has to stick with if she wants to get the wealth and legacy, and right now the only way is by going after the easiest target in the house. She doesn’t care if Shria finds out about her pregnancy lie. She’s going to make Shria look like an unstable liar,” says the actress.
Mira is ready to take everything away not just from her sister, but from Nirupa too. “She’ll make hell seem like heaven, compared to the chaos and destruction that she is going to cause within the Rampersad home,” warns Mishka. MaZulu is in shock after Phakade confesses his feelings for her are still strong, then Phakade finds out from Sebenzile that he’s bewitched. The Bhengu family waits in anticipation for Phakade and MaZulu’s big announcement, and an enraged Phakade asks Sebenzile to leave the house for her muti plot. Zithulele loses his cool on live television after a journalist implies that baby Nozi has been kidnapped due to the nature of Zithu’s business, and Lindiwe suddenly realises that the men in her life are keeping her at arm’s length.
Sebenzile makes one last desperate attempt to win back Phakade’s heart but he sends her packing, Makhosazane meets with journalist Nomzamo Ndaba and tries to publicise the situation with Zithulele, and the girls at the Commune find out that Lindo and Clive are sleeping together. The sexual tension between Zithulele and Sibongile intensifies, and Phakade searches for ways to connect more with MaZulu. Later, Poppy and Nomusa come to the realisation that Lindo wants to replace Lindiwe.
