Qhoqhoqho offers Gugu and Tshiamo a lift home, Sibongile’s ex-sugardaddy Mr Leballo buys her new clothes to manipulate her from testifying against him, and Gladys goes on a date with her latest suitor Nkosinathi. Mike Junior takes a bullet for Thathi, Sibongile is tempted to rekindle her romance with Mr Leballo, and Qhoqhoqho orders a hit against his rival. Teddy suspects the worst when he spots his sister Sibongile wearing new school shoes, Qhoqhoqho puts his plan in motion, and Gladys takes a step back from her romance with Nkosinathi.

Mike Junior is taken to the hospital, Stompie beats Mr Leballo, and Pretty inadvertently leads a friend on. Qhoqhoqho threatens to kill Mike Junior, Zodwa warns her stepdaughter Sibongile about contacting Mr Leballo, and Ntokozo strikes a deadly deal with Qhoqhoqho. Nkosinathi reveals that he’s resigning from his job following his failed relationship with Gladys, Qhoqhoqho sets an ultimatum for Thathi, and Sibongile takes to the witness stand in court against Mr Leballo. Gladys tries to convince Nkosinathi to remain in Alexandra Township but he’s already made up his mind, Thathi is in two minds about betraying Mike Junior, and Sibongile regrets turning against Mr Leballo. Nkosinathi prepares to leave town, Thathi and her family receive a reading of her late husband Phumlani’s will, and Gladys invites Nkosinathi to her home.
