While Adam didn’t have a problem with being a judge on The Voice and executive producing Songland, the bosses at parent network NBC did. “There wasn’t a fight or anything. They basically said I needed to pick one or the other – not both,” says Adam. “I’d been on The Voice since season 1 in 2011. It wasn’t that I was tired of that. It was just time to get a new song flowing through my body and I felt it with Songland,” says the musician.
