WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS (series)
Mockumentaries don’t come funnier or creepier than this TV adaptation by director Taika Waititi,
Viago in the 2014 movie of the same name. It follows the “lives” of four vampires, all born in different eras and now living together in Staten Island, of all places. They have their own personalities, their own sucking styles, they even reveal that there are different breeds. It’s ooky and it’s kooky, it’s creepy and it’s crawly – and the best thing is that it’s satirically brilliant. The to-camera interviews let the vamps expose their true selves as if they’re in the diary room of a reality show. Keep an eye out for guest appearances by loads of famous faces, including the Daywalking superhero vampire himself
