Zithulele might be a pro when it comes to business, but he has his head in the clouds when it comes to his personal life, explains Raphael. “He was the baby of the family so he often had things done for him. Zithulele has had an easy life until he decided to get into the oil business with his own company Shongololo Oil. Then he found out that even his family would betray him and beat him down.”
Raphael is adamant though that his character will rise to the top, explaining that Zithulele is determined to prove his detractors wrong. “He wants to show the world that his surname –
Bhengu – carries weight. He’s going to show everyone, especially his family and his business rivals, that he’s got what it takes to compete in the business world.”
Zithu’s personal life is a different story, and he’s going to have his hands full in this new season. “Zithulele has gone through a rollercoaster of emotions. High highs and low lows. He’s been through the ringer but he has not let that beat him down. He gets up time and again no matter what he has been hit with. His divorce is a sour point but Zithu isn’t going to let that be what he’s known for. He’s not a quitter by any means.”
