“It’s morphin’ time!” You’ll be hearing that a lot with the brand-new reboot of kids action series The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. While there are loads of new Rangers taking over the Suits Of Power to defend Earth, there’s one thing that’s stayed the same: It’s villain.

They fight but it ends badly for Master Dane, who sacrifices himself to keep Galvanax from unlocking the Prism’s full power. “Galvanax is furious and he retaliates by kidnapping Master Dane’s son Brody (William Shewfelt, Henry in drama film This Side Of Summer) and Brody is enslaved on his captor’s spaceship,” explains William.

“It’s an intense storyline but it’s one that fits in with the Power Rangers’ world.”

After a decade of biding his time, Brody is able to escape and he’s stolen the Prism back, heading to the city of Summer Cove. “He meets other school students who help him unlock the

Ninja Stars from the Prism and together they morph into the Ninja Steel Power Rangers,” adds William. There are 20 episodes in this series with two specials for Halloween and Christmas. “We’ve got a lot going on in each episode and we give our viewers a message, one of hope and spirit,” says the lead star.
