With David bringing the professional feedback as a restauranteur chef and J as a relatable home cook, they’re hoping that viewers will be inspired to do their own pop-up restaurants for family and friends. “A good plan is always important, which you will see the contestants have. As a host, it’s pertinent to document a food plate, so write down what you are going to do and the process so that you don’t get caught last minute as guests are arriving,” says David, with J adding, “I really hope that people watch this show and will be inspired to not only become better home cooks but to also become better South Africans as well.”
