Angel made demands of Priester, Nicolene’s dad Lukas unexpectedly arrived in Arendsvlei and he became a problem in her wedding plans with Anton, and Captain Karelse got information from Angel that put Ronnie in a difficult position.

Debra is shocked when the authorities give her unexpected news, Janice is thrown off guard when Debra signs the Mortlocks’ restaurant over to her, and Angel has nightmares about Priester. Angel struggles to hide her unhappiness from Daniel, Aunty Gertie warns Dominee about a plan to work him out of the church, and Dominique tries to seduce Thys. Thys feels guilty about the incident with Dominique and tells Lionel what happened, Nicolene asks Alta-Marie for advice after a falling out with Anton, and Ingrid feels lonely, defeated and uncomfortable in her new circumstances.
Thys talks openly with Dominique, Langes and Debra say goodbye, and Daniel suggests that Angel see a divorce lawyer.
Anton and Nicolene have an important family meeting, Angel realises that she needs to learn to be independent, and Anton and Nicolene look forward to their marriage. Janice must deal with a crisis at the Mortlocks, it’s the day before the wedding and everyone is getting ready for the bachelor parties, and Janice warns Lionel not to withhold important information from her. Angel is still unsure of who to open up to, Anton and Nicolene’s wedding is almost ruined, and Janice struggles as the new restaurant owner. Daniel promises that he will always look after Angel, and the tragedy is still rippling through everyone.
