Mandla came to a shocking realisation about how to save his family and their empire: He needs to get rid of Gagashe. Robert’s attempts at reconciliation with Sarah ended in tears, Mandla had to fight tooth and nail, and there was trouble for Tebatso and Poppy.

Gagashe makes it clear to Mandla that he’s not going to be beaten easily, and Donald thinks that he can save his father’s troubles at home. Tebatso starts spending money that he doesn’t have but Poppy isn’t going to stop him from spoiling her, and Gagashe launches an attack on Mandla after he figures out Mandla’s weak spot. Sarah’s confession angers Robert and it might be enough to ruin their relationship forever, and Gagashe’s back is to the wall.
Poppy puts her foot down and isn’t going to let anyone belittle her and hold her back, and Mandla makes certain that he has the last laugh when it comes to Papi and Puleng being a thorn in his side. Robert goes on a trip out of town without his wife, the wedding is under threat, and Seipati’s big day ends in tears thanks to an unexpected revelation. Gagashe is confronted by a furious Seipati, and Mandla lies to Puleng to protect her from his plan to destroy Gagashe. Robert breaks down and confesses that he’s been seeing a therapist to cope with his issues, and it’s time for Gagashe to face his rivals head on. Mandla is forced to make a decision that could spell disaster for a number of people, Phakade is ready to get rid of Poppy and he puts a hit on her, and Seipati is distraught when she discovers the truth about Gagashe’s wives, but she may have to suck it up and accept his ways.
