Thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings (LOTR), the elf Galadriel (Morfyyd Clark) fears that evil is seeping into Middle-earth’s Second Age. This eight-episode series is based on info on the past given in The Lord Of The Rings trilogy and in author JRR Tolkien’s notes and published LOTR Appendices. We’ll see how and why the Rings Of Power were forged, and watch the fall of the island realm of Númenor, led by Queen Míriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson).
