DStv introduces a new channel for movie buffs, joining our new channels for Japanese TV fans, and Muslim viewers this August
DStv is adding more viewing to your bouquets this August, starting with a 24-hour movie channel, two Islam-orientated channels and a Japanese entertainment and lifestyle channel.
BOOM! IT’S MOVIE ROOM
Movie Room is the brainchild of Ngwato Nkosi Group, founders of news channel Newzroom Afrika (*405). The Ngwato Nkosi Group is a partnership between television entrepreneurs Thabile Ngwato and Thokozani Nkosi.

Hilaal TV (*347) gives DStv’s Muslim subscribers lifestyle and spiritually uplifting content, aimed at supporting the broader Ummah (Islamic community). The shows provide entertaining and enlightening viewing 24 hours a day and can be enjoyed by the whole family as there is special programming for children.

Movie Room will be available in South Africa to all DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access customers on DStv (*113).
