Unlike regular shows, Stephen and Alexander didn’t have to have stunt doubles because they both have action and fighting training already. “Alexander grew up in Vancouver and he’s an ace at freestyle skiing. We went out one day and he was doing perfect backflips. And I’ve been in professional wrestling rings, so I’m good.” Alex on the other hand sheepishly says that he would’ve preferred someone to take the fake blows. “Stephen had to punch me in the gut one day and he connected so hard that I almost passed out. It’s fine for him because Arrow ended a while before this show. I was still bruised from Vikings, my body was sore and now I’m getting thrown onto a wrestling ring? I’d have had a stuntie if I’d known.” As for the rest of the cast, most of the wrestlers are real-life performers who also worked as trainers for the lead stars.
