GUESS WHO’S COMING?
“Last season we had the best time and a lot of great guests joined us and audiences really enjoyed them throughout the season,” says Dwayne. And season 2 has more guest appearances and cameos. Forrest Whitaker (Bumpy in drama series Godfather Of Harlem) and Sean Astin (Samwise in the Lord Of The Rings movies) are going to be joined by a few professional wrestlers. “I made a few phone calls and my wrestling friends were happy to join us!” says Dwayne.
“The chemistry is authentic, real and very comfortable from right off the bat. We leaned on each other,” says Amber on her cast mates, highlighting the culture of black female friendships. Apart from being inspired to step into world domination, viewers will be reminded that you can get through anything as long as you have a safe tribe of friends. And that celebration only counts when it’s with those who care for you.
“All the women are on the same journey, but they’re just in different stages,” explains Ella. “What jumps out is the idea that you know who you are and who you see yourself as, which is ultimately the most important thing for your heart.”
