What’s coming is a secret, but we do know a bit about Fred, like the fact that in 2017 he launched Right Course, a learning course to remodel prison staff restaurants to operate like high-street restaurants and to teach prisoners about the service industry. 1 He grew up in Limoges, France. His parents were healthcare workers and supported his interest in the service industry. “The conversation at dinner time was all about patient care and about making sure that people had a good experience, which is also relevant in the service industry,” says Fred.
2 In 2012, Fred launched National Waiters Day to celebrate front of house staff and attract people to the profession.
3 Fred had his breakout TV job in 2015 in the reality series First Dates. Later in 2016 he wrote a book called First Dates: The Art Of Love.
4 He has a Jamaican fiancée, whom he fondly calls Fruitcake, and he also has 17-yearold daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, who is a professional diver, from his first marriage.
