CONGRATULATIONS!

We’re happy to announce the three winners of our Survivor SA competition. The competition took place on our Facebook page in collaboration with DStv and we asked our followers who they thought would be the sole Survivor. Tiaan Smith (32) from Parow in Cape Town. “I love reading tvplus because it’s always jampacked with awesome content. And what I loved most about this season’s Survivor was all the unpredictable gameplay and blindsides. At first I wasn’t really sure Dino would win but once he started lying low after Danté was voted out, and since Marion never wanted to target Dino, I knew that he was going to end up in the final and win.” Quinton van Schalkwyk

(32) from Kraaifontein in Cape Town: “I enjoy tvplus because of the awesome soapie previews. My favourite moment in Survivor was of course when Dino won, as well as all the blindsides happening throughout the season. I was just hoping that he would win and I think he played a very good game!”

Christell Boucher (now van der Merwe, 30) from Fourways, Johannesburg: “There were so many fantastic moments this season, but my favourite was definitely when Dino won the car – it was amazing to see his excitement as well as how happy his teammates were for him, it truly made me shed a tear. He seemed laser-focused this time around and extremely determined.

His great social game and the manner in which he was “calling the shots” but never really anyone’s target had me believe early on that he was the winner. Everyone would say he was a threat but no one acted on it and ultimately, when they decided he needed to go, it was not possible and too late to get rid of him. Well done, Dino!”
