Hi tvplus, what on earth is wrong with SABC3? They keep showing the same episodes of

The View every day? – ANONYMOUS PER SMS

Jip, there seems to have been a glitch with the broadcasting. Who knows? We’ve reached out to the publicity team who’re going to get an official answer for us (hopefully it’ll happen). I might be wrong, though, but it seems like it’s been corrected and new episodes are being broadcasted daily now. I’d love to hear what you do and don’t enjoy about the show! I’m very selective with my talkshows and maybe your viewpoint will strike a chord with me and I’ll give other shows a chance!

Dear Lucia, will Legacy come back again? It didn’t seem to have ended. Kind regards – JOYCE ANSCHUTZ PER EMAIL

Hi Joyce. Thank you for the mail. There’s bad news, I’m afraid. Legacy was already officially cancelled in September/October last year and they wrapped filming in February this year.

So there’s no coming back from this ending. Like you say, it was a very open-ended conclusion given that they knew long in advance that there wouldn’t be a follow-up season. What we do know is that Felicity (Mary-anne Barlow) confessed to her family (offscreen) to murdering her father Sebastian Price (Deon Lotz) in the first episode and setting off the entire saga. Flashforward a scene or two and her furious family walk out on her and Felicity is led to a prison cell with graffiti scrawled on the wall by previous inmates, clutching her prison clothes and being told, “This is your cell, Miss Price.”

One ending that would’ve been perfect, had there been a season 3 lined up, was Dineo (Kgomotso Christopher) taking back control of Legacy Investments and telling her late husband Sebastian’s illegitimate son Robbie (André Lótter) that she needs him to help her rebuild Legacy, meaning she’s cast her sons Sefako (Zenzo Ngqobe) and Sebastian Jr (Anton David Jeftha) and stepdaughters Liz (Reandi Grey) and Lexi (Jay Anstey) aside to partner with her stepson. That could’ve been fun!

?? ?? Felicity Price is exactly where she belongs: prison.
