Someone calls Child Protective Services to check on Thomas after he waves a knife at Brooke, and Ridge recognises Brooke’s voice, then catches her in a lie. Bill asks Steffy to look over his home in Aspen as he prepares to put it on the market, Steffy decides to take a mother-daughter road trip to Aspen with Taylor, but Ridge gatecrashes their getaway to plead with Taylor, and Brooke flies to Aspen to chase down Ridge. Nikki Newman later visits Eric at Forrester Creations and she demands that Deacon give her info about Diane Jenkins.

Chad kidnaps Clyde from City Hall just as EJ plots Clyde’s death, and Clyde tells Chad how Abby died. Gwen warns Jack about Jennifer while Jennifer hallucinates a conversation with Abby, and Gwen gets mown down in a hit-and-run incident. Chad speaks to Abby’s ghost, while Julie confronts Jennifer about her addiction.
Rex links Kate, Kayla and Marlena’s illness to the symptoms Roman suffered a while back, and just as Dr Mike Horton returns to Salem, Jennifer is preparing to leave Jack and Salem behind.
