Since Jackie was forced into early retirement, the season begins with him unemployed with no purpose, watching cartoons on his couch, a complete juxtaposition from the grinding FBI agent we’re so used to. Jackie eventually gets a job handling security for Sinclair Dryden, which becomes a problem. “He’s so powerful and connected that he’s got the DA carrying his water,” says DeCourcy when he confronts Jackie.

“Sinclair gives Jackie a BMW car so that he can experience this life he wishes he had,” says Kevin. “Jackie is undecided on whether he should report or confront the man he’s working for or if he should turn a blind eye and keep his new gig. Jackie comes to a place of understanding that he has issues he hasn’t dealt with and some of those issues he begins to challenge in this season,” adds Kevin.
