When looking for a new home, one adage is always applicable: Location, location, location! And property programme Location, Location, Location has been helping buyers find the perfect home every episode. It’s a tough ask, with buyers having a wide variety of tastes in location and the activities they’d like to do in the area, such as snowboarding or places where retirees can relax. For hosts Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp, who’ve been hosting the show for more than 20 years, finding these locations have now become second nature and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. “To be honest, we never thought it would last beyond the pilot, but it’s now been running for more than 20 years and 390 episodes,” Kirstie says fondly.

Kirstie has lobbied in Parliament 4 against housing ministers about the difficulties first-time home buyers face. “I’ll go with the politicians who make the process for home buyers easier, because at the moment it’s massively stressful for people,” she states.
