Danni and Siya reconciled but the road ahead was full of challenges, Elana asked Susan for a favour with her mother Nelia who came to visit, and Carlo experienced a setback with the toy dog experiment.

Junaid says one thing but does the exact opposite, Chris makes a shocking revelation, and Elana and Nelia open up old wounds with their bickering. Danni encourages Siya, Justin’s frustration boils over spectacularly, and Elana wants to send her mother home. Zoe has a narrow escape, Shahiema finds out about Junaid’s lie, and Nelia realises that there’s been a misunderstanding. Siya loses his temper, Nelia catches Susan off guard, and Mymoena takes over the pharmacy interviews to keep things afloat.
Another crime hits Ruiterbosch, all eyes are on Siya and he doesn’t know where to hide his head, and Justin gives Susan an ultimatum. Elana comes to a crossroads, Mymoena helps the police with a tip-off, and Elana tries to repair the damage to her relationship with her mother. Ty gets a stroke of luck, and it seems that there’s light at the end of the tunnel for Elana and her mother. The noose is tightening around Siya’s neck, and Elana is at a loss with Nelia who keeps doing or saying the wrong thing. Mrs J is worried about Siya, Bridgette and Lee-Ann have to make a difficult decision, and Zoe makes it very clear how she feels. Later,
Elana has to say goodbye to her mother without them having made progress.
