WHY WOMEN KILL
This show was created by Mark Cherry (Desperate Housewives), and each of the two seasons follows three women from different eras who’re connected somehow. Season 1 sees Beth Ann (Ginnifer Goodwin, Jodie in the comedy series Pivoting) living in 1963 with a cheating hubby; socialite Simone Grove (Lucy Liu, Dr Joan Watson in sleuth series Elementary) exists in 1984 when she’s cheating on her gay husband; and lawyer Taylor Harding (Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Elena Felton in the drama series Killing Eve) is in 2019 and secretly in love with her husband’s lover. Season 2 is set in 1949 and explores how jealousy, anger and outright murder send a small community into meltdown thanks to beauty.
