I usually avoid going to stores and rather shop online, but when my tvplus delivery is late, I quickly pop to my nearest shop. The manager already knows me because I ask every time if he can’t display tvplus better. The other day in front of the magazine rack, there was another woman who also picked up a tvplus just as I walked by. “It’s so expensive!” I heard her say and her husband nodded his head. “But it’s so fun to read. Is there anything on the shopping list we can leave in order to buy it?” My heart broke for the couple. I realise what a luxury it is to still be able to buy magazines, or that some have to pinch and scrape to afford them. I also understand when readers complain about the price. I wish I was Santa Claus who could give everyone TV joy with our fun stories. Thank you for supporting us. Writing about television remains our passion!
