Proving his worth
Will Vhutshilo be able to show Zama that he is capable of taking care of her?
Lovebirds Vhutshilo Mukwevho (Wavhudi Lidzhegu) and Zama (Yolanda Buthelezi) are on cloud nine as they celebrate their engagement. But the cracks in their relationship start showing early, leaving the young royal prince worried about whether or not he and Zama will be able to overcome this newest hurdle in their relationship.
“Vhutshilo is ecstatic that his proposal to Zama was a success and that he got the answer he was looking for. But the problems start arising when Zama suggests that she be the one to buy a marital home for them. As a man, Vhutshilo feels extremely disrespected because he feels that Zama doesn’t think that he is capable to take care of her and buy her a house,” says Wavhudi.
VHUTSHILO’S NEW VENTURE
In the midst of stressing over his relationship with Zama, Vhutshilo is persuaded by his father Chief Azwindini (Gabriel Temudzani) to join the family company Mukwevho Mulaudzi Constructions (MMC), and in return Azwindini will help Vhutshilo become financially stable so that Zama will take him seriously as a man. However, Vhutshilo
encounters an obstacle in his path in the form of his mother Susan (Maumela Mahuwa) who wants him to stay away from The Royal Family and everything that’s connected to them – including MMC because she thinks that they’re hiding a big secret.
“Azwindini tells Vhutshilo to get involved and work with MMC in order to continue their family legacy, especially now that the Motsamais are taking over the company. When Susan hears about Azwindini’s plans, she decides to spoil them by offering Vhutshilo the money he needs to buy his marital home. But in a surprise turn of events, Vhutshilo ends up blindsiding Susan…” says the actor.
DRIFTING FURTHER APART
Vhutshilo acts differently as soon as he starts working with his dad and it worries Zama. “Zama’s confusion is caused by the insecure behaviour that Vhutshilo displays as she doesn’t understand why he isn’t letting her contribute towards buying the marital home. On the other hand, Vhutshilo knows that his behaviour stems from the fact that Azwindini stole his ex-girlfreidn and he feels even less of a man. To keep Zama though, he needs to man up… in a hurry!”
