Mary learns that Rubin is sabotaging Esther while working at her club Casanova, and she gets Gabriel to take care of it. Esther’s real biological father Kgosi/Elliot King introduces himself to her, and Esther invites Mary to the opening night at Casanova where she will meet someone from her past. Maradona blackmails Zakwe into robbing houses for him by threatening everyone Zakwe loves, Umpas asks his crush to the matric dance, and Phindile’s matric dance dreams are left shattered. Maradona sucks Zakwe deeper into his world of crime, and Zakwe is later horrified when Maradona selects Noluthando’s tavern as a target.

Millicent shames Phindile when she labels her as a needy orphan on social media, and Phindile struggles to find a dress that’s within her budget, only for her dance dreams to fall apart. After Mary reveals how Rubin has been manipulating and undermining Esther, Kgosi/Elliot King plots with her to destroy Rubin, but Sarah might get there first when she finds out that Rubin is planning to go to the cops, which would expose her. Sarah visits Gazati, and Esther has questions of her own following a chat with Gabriel, while Mary and Siviwe fight over Mary’s past.
