Is Ayanda losing it?

Oby makes sure that her target is starting to question everything – including her sanity!

-

Being drunk and behaving oddly is one thing, but randomly acting out of character is alarming. Which is why Ayanda (Samela Tyelbooi) freaks after her daughter

Nontle’s (Buntu Petse) friend Mpho (Junior Singo) reveals that Nontle is coming home early from her European trip. “Ayanda’s life is in turmoil right now and it would be best if Nontle wasn’t around to see it. Nontle wouldn’t be able to help and the young woman would be tortured by seeing that her mother is going through this ordeal. Ayanda freaks out!” Samela says.

SHE’S AT IT AGAIN

If we tell you the details of the turmoil in Ayanda’s life, we’d be spoiling the entire storyline, but something’s definitely up and Ayanda suspects that Oby (Khabonina Qubeka) is up to her old, dark-magic tricks again.

“Ayanda is acting very strange. Just a few days ago she was adamant that her daughter should come home. Now Ayanda desperately wants Nontle to stay away. She can’t remember ever saying that she wanted Nontle to come home. She wants her to stay as far away from her as possible – for her own sake. Everyone is confused,” Samela reveals.

Ayanda slowly realises that she’s lost control of her life and her body, leaving her feeling hopeless and helpless. “She believes that Oby is tormenting her and she feels powerless to stop her,” says Samela. But viewers won’t have to wait long to find out what’s going on when Oby reveals the truth – and it’s even more horrific than expected. Khabonina is keeping her lips sealed, only saying that “you never really expect just how dark Oby is willing to go. There’s very little that she won’t do to get her way”.

SECRETS & SKELETONS

As if Ayanda wasn’t already going through enough, worse is on the way when she gets two shocks. “I’ll let you in on one of the surprises – it’s that her man Nkosiyabo (Muzi Mthabela) has a daughter,” Samela reveals. Yikes! Having secrets in a relationship is bad enough, but hiding an entire child is extreme… enough to drive anyone mad, if you ask us! Will Ayanda survive all these storms? Well, she’s been through worse, so it’s going to be an interesting wait to see whether the dawn breaks soon…
