It’s time for a fresh start with 2023 this January and the best New Year’s Resolution you can have is to make Openview’s eReality channel (108) part of your reality. “We always look for the best entertainm­ent and offerings for our viewers,” says e.tv’s Communicat­ion Manager Bennum van Jaarsveld. “That’s why the January content, especially on eReality, is a must-watch. It will be an exciting 2023 and we are eager to spoil our viewers.”

Here is the scoop on what’s to come. And be warned: There’s more viewing than a Christmas feast! eReality is serving up three epic food competitio­n series with grit, pizazz (and pizza), and mouthwater­ing plates to inspire you. First on the menu we have Next

Level Chef season 1 which starts on Sunday, 1 January at 17:10. From the brain of the world’s most famous chef Gordon

Ramsay comes this series that challenges 15 chefs in a series of cooking challenges. They’ll be split into three groups and get the opportunit­y to cook in three different kitchens that are stacked on top of each other.

The top-level kitchen is state of the art, the middle kitchen is a standard commercial kitchen, and the bottom-level kitchen contains a limited collection of items. Chefs must use what they have in each kitchen to create culinary masterpiec­es, advance in the competitio­n, and advance to the next level kitchen.

To be named the perfect dinner party host, groups of four participan­ts each take turns during the week to cook and entertain the rest. Their rivals meanwhile snoop around the house, get snobby over the canapes, and award points at the end of the meal.

MasterChef Australia season 10 from Monday, 16 January at 19:00.
