HILTON BOWLING CLUB

The annual novices competition (Round 1) was played on Sunday, ladies at Umgeni and men at Howick. Congratulations to Di Smythe, who won both her matches and goes on to play in the quarter finals in Howick next weekend. Good luck Di!

Mike Dick won his first game but unfortunately lost the second 21–18. Well done to all our entries as this competition is great experience for our new bowlers.

The J. Leslie Smith 2-4-2 competition on Wednesday was won by John Pattrick and Lester Ballantyne (meat pack). Well done! Runners-up were Mike and Janet Fairhurst (wine). Forthcoming week: Artisan’s trips on Wednesday starting at 1.30pm.
