KARATE CLUB APPEALS FOR HELP

Akarate instructor from Howick is hoping local residents will step up and support a tournament to be held in October.

Thobani Mnikathi, aka Sensei TK, from Mpophomeni, is in need of trophies and medals for the event, which is set to take place on October 8.

The competition will be hosted by the Midlands Knockdown Oyama Karate Dojo, which operates from the TKay Fitness Gym in Main Road.

Mnikathi, who offers classes in Howick and Mpophomeni, explained that his pupils travel around the province taking part in different events and that it was now his turn to host one.
