SENSATIONAL SOCCER AT HOWICK HIGH

Howick High School recently hosted an U19 6-a-side girls’ soccer tournament, sponsored by MTN.

Teams from Hillcrest High School, GHS, The Wycombe Collegiate, St John’s, Epworth, St Anne’s, Raisethorpe High School, Linpark High School and Voortrekker High School competed in an exciting set of fixtures.

The Howick High B team made it through to the quarter final losing to Hillcrest B by 1-0.

Howick High’s A team made it through to the final match, where they faced the Hillcrest High A, winning the match 3-1 in a nail-biting penalty shoot-out.

Rachel Tegg was voted player of the tournament.
