REMEMBERING LOVED ONES

Midlands Hospice will be holding a special tribute to those who have passed away in the Howick and wider Midlands community over the past few years.

The ceremony will take place at 10am on Thursday, August 25 at Hospice’s premises at 7 Mansfield Road, Howick.

“This is a special time for each person to pay tribute to their loved one and to honour them in our candle lighting ceremony,” said Meghan Coslett, marketing co-ordinator for

Hospice.“Our Hospice care team will conduct the celebration with words of encouragement and advice about living with grief.”

Refreshments will be served afterwards and the care team will be on hand to chat to participants over tea and cake.

Hospice is also looking for entrants and sponsors for its annual Colour Run at 8am on Saturday, September 10. The event starts at Hospice House.

Entry is R120 per person of R110 per person for teams of four or more people. The entry for pupils and pensioners is R80 and R30 for children under 10.
