The winners of the J. Leslie Smith competition were Heather Rice and Syd Fincham. With them are president Ingrid Oellermann and organiser Mike Guest.

The J. Leslie Smith sponsored 2-4-2 competition played on Friday was won by Syd Fincham and Heather Rice (meat packs).

Runners up were Barend van der Merwe and Debbie Stobie (Ellenbird vouchers) and in third place were Anton Leisegang and Debbie Elliott (Nino’s vouchers).

The lucky draw of wine went to Rod and Ingrid Hollness.

On Saturday the next round of league was played at home resulting in wins for our men’s 1st league against Howick and women’s league against Lynwood. Well done!

Forthcoming week

• Saturday, September 17 - the ladies will be playing their last league game for the year at West Bowling Club at 1pm.

Due to our green being closed for maintenance this following week there will be no tabs in or competitions.
