Comrades Marathon 2023 race date

The Comrades Marathon Association has announced the provisional race date for next year's Comrades Marathon.

Chairperson, Mqondisi Ngcobo, said: “After the success of this year’s 95th Comrades Marathon, runners have been eagerly enquiring about next year’s anticipated race date.

“The CMA board recently met and have declared that they are amenable to the race date of June 11, 2023, as circulated by Athletics South Africa (ASA) in a draft national fixture list on August 15.”

The CMA has submitted its application to KwaZulu-Natal Athletics (KZNA) for the race to be held on June 11 and once approval is confirmed by KZNA and/or ASA, details of the entry process, qualifying criteria and other race information will be revealed.
