Eleven choristers from Wembley College have been accepted into the KZN Midlands Youth Choir.

The audition process is a strict and nerve-racking process, even for seasoned choristers. Musical pieces need to be learnt for the various stages of auditions that are held before the singer is accepted as a fully-fledged member of the youth choir.

William Silk, head of the KZN Midlands Youth Choir, said: “It is an amazing opportunity to become a KZN chorister.

“You are given the opportunity to perform on a national and international platform, representing your country at the highest level of competition and even sometimes performing for royalty.

“These are some of the experiences that our Wembley College choristers are going to be exposed to when singing with the KZN Midlands Youth Choir.”
