HEAD DOWN MEMORY LANE WITH THE BIFOCALS
If you love the music of the sixties and seventies, then you can’t afford to miss the Music in the Meadows concert at Le Petite France on the Karkloof Road, outside Howick.
Performing on Saturday, October 29 at 2pm will be the legendary band, The Bifocals.
The six-piece outfit consists of a mixed bag of middle-aged lawyers, an engineer, and academics, put together and led by Ant Jenkins.
Together they focus on the harmonies and tight renditions of classics from the sixties and seventies era.
Given their ages, they also require bifocal specs to read their music and interact with their audiences, hence the name of the band!
The Bifocals have performed at various music festivals and private functions over the years.
Music in the Meadows is hosted by Le Petite France and Paul Spence, with the support of Village
Talk and Love Howick.
